The "Passion Project"

The "Passion Project"

It’s here. Finally. For the last 10 years I’ve been so focused on the word “help” and how I can “help” others through my skillset as an Occupational Therapist. From teaching daily skills, medication management independence, and attending cardio drumming classes in geriatric settings, to crawling, playing, and writing in schools. Ten years of doing this and I only fall more in love with it because of my passion to help all, in the ways that I do best. Create.

In this time frame I’ve been blessed to welcome 3 beautiful babies, ages 6 and younger. I’ve been busy and honestly tired…. But I’m more fueled than ever! Which each child I’ve somehow become even more creative, and we’re not just talking about crafty activities. I’m talking creative with my time, resources, thought processes, and skill set as a mama.

As a full-time employee working with kids and a mama with active little kiddos, sometimes I’m just so tired and feel like I really have to pull myself together to just think or setup something to keep them engaged. Do I always have time to print and cut an activity on the fly? Nope, because sometimes my printer thinks it’s funny and spits out blank pages. Do I always have the energy to play once I get home and do laundry, sweep, and whatever else mama needs to do? Absolutely not! (I try my best though!). But guess what, THAT.IS.OKAY!.

So welcome to my Passion Project. I’ve been quietly working on developing products that I see a need for, and have been using in my OT sessions to make learning accessible and fun for learners of all ages. From carrying to delivery and beyond, all a mama wants is what’s best, and thinking of our children’s futures even if they were just born. Some mama’s don’t have the resources, support, and/or genuine ability to constantly create things to help their littles in their learning journeys, and again, that is OKAY. Let’s cut back on judging, and focus more on supporting one another. Use my site as a resource with activities to provide that “time” for your little to work on their skills, through engaging ways that teach motor skills development, emotion regulation, independence and confidence in their abilities. Make it fun, and it’s not so much of a task. I put in the work creating, so you can focus on being the mama YOU want to be.

Let’s learn, grow, play, and create together! Keep checking the site for updates on free resources, products for learning, and more. Have a question, suggestion, or inquiry? Just send me a message!! Whether you are a mama, caregiver, therapist, educator, etc. you landed here on this post, and I’m so happy you’re here! YOU are amazing, and I’m so excited to help play a part in whatever part of your learning journey that you’re on.
